Light has Shone

I composed Light has Shone for MSU Denver’s Chorale for the Holiday Card in Fall of 2022. The text is adapted from excerpts of texts from the book of Isaiah, chapters 9 and 59. The text explores a longing for light amidst the darkness that the world walks in. While this present darkness may seem all-encompassing, perhaps leaving us feeling as though hoping for change is futile, the Light will shine into the darkness, and will not be overcome.
